Partnership System

Enlist (Partnership) – Fill (House Church)

How We Connect People to Fulfilling Service

Clarify the Win
This system is working when our volunteer base is increasing in proportion to our weekend services.

Overall concepts and considerations
People are valuable. Time is valuable. We must provide an excellent experience for our volunteers. They are giving the local church two of their most valuable commodities (their time and their talent).
Storehouse Church considers partnership in ministry an expression of a growing believer. We systematically encourage putting your faith in action through serving in the local church.

How it works:
Strategic and Ministry Partnership Emphasis
Three times per year (August, January, and May)
Partnership emphasis last for 4 weeks
Attender indicates interest in ministry area by selecting from brochure
Brochure’s response card is placed in the offering box
Data is compiled and forwarded to team leaders
Office staff sends email to attender acknowledging their request and explaining the process
Team leader contacts person by phone within 24 hours, followed by an email
Team leader initiates a phone or face to face orientation
Team leader trains new volunteer
Volunteer commits to joining the team
Teams provide regular huddles for ongoing training and leadership development

Personal Invitation
At any point a team leader can enlist a person to join their ministry team.
The team leader initiates the process with a face to face invitation.

Personal Inquiry
At any point an attender of Storehouse can inquire about serving on a ministry team. When an inquiry is made the team leader will respond quickly with a follow-up email that initiates a phone or face to face orientation.

Connecting Class
Class helps participants answer three questions:
Who am I?
Where am I?
What’s next?
A reasonable next step, for some, will be partnership in ministry.
