God is preparing YOU

At Catalsyt, Stephen Furtick said, “God is preparing you for what God has prepared for you.”

This week’s audio leadership lesson isn’t from me, it’s from Pastor Stephen Furtick’s presentation at the Catalyst Conference. In Stephen’s talk he challenged us to hold onto the promise of God – because God is faithful – and we can trust Him THROUGH the process of reaching His promises!

I snipped out a 5 minute excerpt from Stephen’s talk. Listen below.

God has a message for you in those five minutes. He is at work in a powerful way in our church. When you serve, I want to challenge you to act in a new level of faith.

• Act as though Jesus were in the room (He is) and you are serving and leading for an audience of one (Jesus).
• Act as though the rapture will happen at 12:15pm THIS Sunday.
• Act as though you are leading people toward making the most important decision they will ever make (you are).
• Act as if you will be standing before the judgment seat of Christ on Monday giving an account for your ministry the day before.

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting radical for Jesus.
